My Backyard Bivvy
Yesterday I made a Backyard Bivvy. The materials I used were 3 big sticks, 3 pegs, 12 rocks, large tarpaulin and string. Firstly I stabbed the sticks into the ground and then tied them together at the top. After that I added the tarpaulin over it. After I done that I put rocks on the edges of the tarpaulin. It was finished! but then the tarpaulin kept falling off the sticks so I got more string and tied the tarpaulin to the sticks and then added pegs to make it even more stronger. After it was finished I put a little blanket inside of it and added some pillows and a teddy bear. Me and my brother where sitting inside of it for like 2 hours then my dad told me to take the pillows and teddy bear out because it started to rain. I thought it would get wet inside but it didn't so its waterproof, I also thought the wind would blow it away but it didn't so its windproof and waterproof. While i was building it i learnt how to have fun with my brother without getting angry at him xD
