Mad Libs story

WALT: We are learning to use a range of different language features to create a funny story

The Monster

In my travels, I have experienced many Bushy things. Probably the Hardest encounter I've had was when I went Writing down at Duckwater, Nevada. It was 420 degrees outside, and the weather was Green. I sat in my Ur mom waiting for a Ur dad to sprint, when all of a sudden, a Lochness monster ran right in front of me! I was big, but I thought fast. I hit the monster with a Ur brother on its eyeballs and made a break for it. Just before I could get back to my bumper car, I felt something red on my toes! I didn't even turn to look. I sprinted as hastily as I could, and drove away. It was such a white experience, I couldn't Mexican Jesus for 69 days!

This story was created around 2 weeks ago for our literacy menu. For this we used the Mad Libs made by Jimmy Fallon of the Tonight Show . To make our stories we had to use different language features like adjectives, nouns, verbs, adverbs and other language features. I found it challenging to think of lots of different language features. The thing I liked most was the end result of the stories because they where funny and they made me laugh.
